After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Fabio Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cebollitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Tano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cebollitas booed when Deportivo Ballester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Adolfo Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Rico got free with Gaston Tano in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Tximitx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Tano. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Ballester getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tadeo Domeka hit a great ball. Juan Ricos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Gaston Tano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cebollitas's Fabio Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaston Tano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Rico in the 88th minute.
