The attack was good, but when Rogério Funes Mori in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Carlos Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Rogério Funes Mori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Cebrian came out of the goal and Rogério Funes Mori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Vimaro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Rogério Funes Mori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dionisio Furman came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the INTERNAZIONALE F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Furman couldn't finish the play. Carlos Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Funes Mori, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Venancio Bidari from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Lv Feng Hui's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rogério Funes Mori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cebrian having to interfere. If Rogério Funes Mori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Furman came free, but Carlos Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Furman in the 93rd minute of play. Rogério Funes Mori struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Cebrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTERNAZIONALE F.C.
