Guillermo Montay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Tebaldo in the 6th minute of play forced Intiguasi's goalkeeper Guillermo Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Conrado Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Intiguasi got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Farias. Juan Franco took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Montay. Guillermo Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cipriano Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Benet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Augusto Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Benet having to interfere. After some careless play in the Intiguasi defense, Braulio Berdaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Montay. The Intiguasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Montay should have stopped the shot. A collision led to TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Juan Franco hit a great ball. Intiguasi's Guillermo Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Franco in the 29th minute of play. Cipriano Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Benet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Calixto in the 32nd minute of play forced TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN's goalkeeper Dario Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cipriano Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Intiguasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Frutos couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Benet having to make a save. Juan Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cipriano Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intiguasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Benet having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Frutos was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Abadie in the 56th minute of play. Dario Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Intiguasi's Augusto Eron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Benet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Tebaldo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Intiguasi booed when TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Berdaitz in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Nicolas Farias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Gaudencio Argoitz from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Guillermo Montay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 74 minutes into the game, Nemesio Vincent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Intiguasi the free kick. Nemesio Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cipriano Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dario Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Eron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Benet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Dario Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Frutos in the 85th minute of the match. If Augusto Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dario Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Intiguasi got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Orixe. After a defensive mix-up in TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN's zone, Cipriano Frutos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Benet came out of the goal and Cipriano Frutos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TAPONAZO DE QUEQUEN eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
