But to his dismay, Zuri Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cirilo Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Muc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Maiorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.Bielsa! The referee gave Mogotes a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Pes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A.Bielsa's Romulo Maiorga. 0-2. Cirilo Muc succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. In the 20th match minute, C.A.Bielsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Montel to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Romulo Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zuri Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mogotes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuri Marquez couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the C.A.Bielsa defense, Cirilo Muc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Maiorga. The C.A.Bielsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Maiorga should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Zuri Marquez made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Maiorga. C.A.Bielsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Zuri Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 42nd match minute, C.A.Bielsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Menendo to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Zuri Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Muc in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mogotes's goalkeeper Edgardo Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Mogotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Montae to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

Salvador Derwin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.Bielsa! A collision led to C.A.Bielsa getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alejandro Menendo hit a great ball. In the 59th play minute Cirilo Muc came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romulo Maiorga. 1-8. Cirilo Muc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Romulo Maiorga made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Mogotes's Romulo Maiorga threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zuri Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardino Montel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Romulo Maiorga was a little too slow when Zuri Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-9. When Mogotes's Zuri Marquez in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Bielsa's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes, Zuri Marquez made it 1-10 with a short kick to the right side. C.A.Bielsa's Romulo Maiorga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cirilo Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Bielsa's zone, Zuri Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Maiorga came out of the goal and Zuri Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Mogotes's Zuri Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Maiorga. Romulo Maiorga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuri Marquez in the 99th minute of play forced C.A.Bielsa's goalkeeper Romulo Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Mogotes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.Bielsa throughout the match.
