After 2 played minutes Panacón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Tebaldo. Jacinto Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Cuarto having to interfere. Elias Cuarto made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jacinto Raymundo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Panacón AFC defense, Patricio Piorno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Matei. The Panacón AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Matei should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes, Ildefonso Arano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panacón AFC and the Benicio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ildefonso Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Patricio Piorno scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Matei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabe Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Piorno in the 28th minute of play. If Eriberto Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Raymundo could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Elias Cuarto however easily saved by the left post. With 35 minutes on the clock, Adrian Fertus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benicio FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Benicio FC:s Elias Cuarto showed great skill when he stopped Niceto Lobo:s penalty. The supporters of Panacón AFC booed when Benicio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Panacón AFC's Arnaldo Tebaldo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Cuarto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Panacón AFC's zone, Americo Derwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Matei came out of the goal and Americo Derwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Raymundo to make the kick off. Benicio FC's Elias Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Senin in the 51st minute of play. Elias Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Eriberto Etxepare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Matei. The goal made the score 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Socorro during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Ciriaco Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Panacón AFC's zone, Eriberto Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Matei came out of the goal and Eriberto Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th match minute, Benicio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Etxepare struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Bernabe Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benicio FC. After a rather tough play, Panacón AFC's Arnaldo Tebaldo got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Benicio FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panacón AFC.
