Honorato Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Cai in the 23rd minute of play forced Vicentini AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Lizer was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 25 played minutes Vicentini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Lizer. Evaristo Bermudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Artemio Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Esquipula in the 31st minute of play. Artemio Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Cai in the 33rd minute of the match. Evaristo Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Quentin having to interfere. Vicentini AFC's Humberto Belo got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Humberto Belo off the ground. The supporters of Altamira FC booed when Vicentini AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vicentini AFC's Herminio Berbiz got a free kick in the 39th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorato Cai made a kick off. Evaristo Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Cai in the 62nd minute of play. Artemio Quentin came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Altamira FC's Evaristo Bermudo. But to his dismay, Evaristo Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Honorato Cai came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Altamira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Cai couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vicentini AFC's zone, Honorato Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Quentin came out of the goal and Honorato Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Vicentini AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Bermudo. Evaristo Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Evaristo Bermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Vicentini AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Bermudo. Honorato Cai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Altamira FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 87 minutes into the match, Vicentini AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Bermudo. 89 minutes into the match, Altamira FC's Evaristo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Quentin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honorato Cai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Artemio Quentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Evaristo Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute of the match, Honorato Cai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artemio Quentin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Vicentini AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Altamira FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
