After some careless play in the Bernasconi defense, Lucio Cordarell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Irrintzi. The Bernasconi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bernasconi booed when Maranaos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Isidro Herauso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maranaos FC's Delmar Beti. Delmar Beti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Angelino Erroman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Generoso Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Ruperto Frederico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Frederico in the 37th minute of the match. Isidro Herauso did an outstanding performance 39 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Delmar Beti in the goal. After some careless play in the Bernasconi defense, Lucio Cordarell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Irrintzi. The Bernasconi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the game, Maranaos FC's Lucio Cordarell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Irrintzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 57th minute Eduardo Rainerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Lucio Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bernasconi's Generoso Irrintzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucio Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Lucio Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Eduardo Rainerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Maranaos FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Maranaos FC's Lucio Cordarell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 92 played minutes Maranaos FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Urre. When the referee ended the match the Maranaos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
