Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvestre Cresconio started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mendiolaza's zone, Marcial Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kürşat Akbora came out of the goal and Marcial Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Lucas Niva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Tonete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basilio Panfilo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Silvestre Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gilberto Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kürşat Akbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Pudes in the 20th minute of play. Lucas Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Neuquén gigante Patagonia's Fabian Pudes got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lucas Niva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Mendiolaza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Marcial Orzaize sped through Mendiolaza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kürşat Akbora. Marcial Orzaize hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kürşat Akbora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Orzaize in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Pudes made a kick off. Kürşat Akbora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the game, Ivan Pacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendiolaza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neuquén gigante Patagonia the free kick. Ivan Pacho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Tomas Etxekopar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kürşat Akbora, passed just outside the right post. Gilberto Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Etxekopar in the 65th minute of play forced Mendiolaza's goalkeeper Kürşat Akbora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Basilio Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcial Orzaize fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neuquén gigante Patagonia's protests and gave Marcial Orzaize a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Neuquén gigante Patagonia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcial Orzaize hit a great ball. If Tomas Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Lucas Niva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Tonete was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fabian Pudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kürşat Akbora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Neuquén gigante Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Niva came free, but Gilberto Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
