After a rather tough play, Martelli FC's Elias Loramendi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Tiburcio Baraquiel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Goi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Enzo Osoitz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Saladillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Osoitz couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Loramendi came free, but Tiburcio Baraquiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Martelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Lindqvist came free, but Nicolas Goi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Goi made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Leonides Vigil sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Goi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nicolas Goi made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thomas Leoni sent off a good shot on target. Martelli FC's Nicolas Goi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Martelli FC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 minutes of play, Saladillo AFC's Thomas Leoni made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Goi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Ismael Adrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Vigil in the 57th minute of play forced Martelli FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Goi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Goi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Lindqvist in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Thomas Leoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saladillo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 66 minutes into the match, Martelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Leoni came free, but Nicolas Goi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Goi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Lindqvist in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Martelli FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Elias Loramendi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Leoni in the 71st minute of play forced Martelli FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Goi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martelli FC's Nicolas Goi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Lindqvist in the 72nd minute of play. When Marcelo Hegoi fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martelli FC's protests and gave Marcelo Hegoi a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Virgilio Maurino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiburcio Baraquiel. Virgilio Maurino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Martelli FC's Faustino Papo was substituted for Marcelo Hegoi. After some careless play in the Martelli FC defense, Joachim Lindqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Goi. The Martelli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Goi should have stopped the shot. Tiburcio Baraquiel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Elias Loramendi sent off a good shot on target. Thomas Leoni took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Goi. Nicolas Goi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Martelli FC's Nicolas Goi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Leoni in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saladillo AFC fully deserved thier win.
