Santo Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Laureano Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Gorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match, Laureano Esquipula tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Fagildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claudio Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Isidoro Fagildo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Laureano Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorato Lizer to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafin Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Gorri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. All Boys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
