Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anier Obano started the match with the kick off. Esteve Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Llorenc in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, Acequiones's Silverio Bastian made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Ferman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Bastian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Ferman having to make a save. The supporters of Acequiones booed when Cangrejos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Cangrejos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Iban. Leonardo Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guaberto Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Ferman having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Bastian to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Cangrejos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Obano to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mauricio Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Acequiones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Nevada couldn't finish the play. Esteve Abaunza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Llorenc went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 68 minutes, Carlos Iban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangrejos AFC and the Acequiones players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cangrejos AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Carlos Iban hit a great ball. Leonardo Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute, Silverio Bastian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Acequiones's Esteve Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Obano in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cangrejos AFC's zone, Mauricio Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Ferman came out of the goal and Mauricio Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silverio Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acequiones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
