In the 13th minute, Ernesto Cordarryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Weterio in the 22nd minute of play forced E.S.S.Nº 33's goalkeeper Aquilino Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, E.S.S.Nº 33 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Chucho to maneuver through the defense. Teo Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Martin Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ernesto Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the E.S.S.Nº 33 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Martin Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jairo Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.S.S.Nº 33's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Majaditas FC's Martin Joanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Majaditas FC from getting a goal against them. If Ernesto Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jairo Chucho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Joanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Weterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, E.S.S.Nº 33's Teo Gombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Joanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of E.S.S.Nº 33 booed when Majaditas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. E.S.S.Nº 33's Benicio Romildo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Joanes having to interfere. If Teo Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Chucho in the 65th minute of play. Aquilino Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Ted in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Teo Gombal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martin Joanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Jairo Chucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Haroldo Perfecto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Majaditas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.S.S.Nº 33 the free kick.
