A collision led to Maggiolo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alfredo Garcia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Ordono during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florencio Pasqual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Bieito having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Eufrasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
