Aurelio Potter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Lohitzun in the 18th minute of play. Roberto Bieito made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Martin Tipi sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Bieito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Tipi in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Efrain Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Tipis short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Roberto Bieito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aurelio Potter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ricardo Corderall fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maggiolo's protests and gave Ricardo Corderall a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Corderall hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Alfredo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Elpidio Lohitzun made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Victor Jacindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Babilonia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maggiolo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Babilonia AFC's Victor Jacindo got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Corderall in the 60th minute of play forced Babilonia AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Potter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Tipi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Roberto Bieito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babilonia AFC. 66 minutes into the game, Alfredo Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maggiolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Babilonia AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Babilonia AFC's zone, Ricardo Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Potter came out of the goal and Ricardo Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Maggiolo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elpidio Lohitzun hit a great ball. Jacinto Luken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Babilonia AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Potter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Lohitzun. Jacinto Luken charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Luken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacinto Luken kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Elpidio Lohitzun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aurelio Potter made a huge save. In the 87th minute Ricardo Corderall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Potter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Babilonia AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maggiolo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
