Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luisito Rivero made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 10 minutes, Hernan Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Rivero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Morena FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Jaume who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on MADAGASCAR's corner Fabian Jaume fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilhelm Smitt quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Inocencio Gabrio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Halil Usta. The supporters of MADAGASCAR booed when Morena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Morena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Rivero came free, but Vilhelm Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Hernan Loren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Halil Usta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Jaume charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Jaume the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, MADAGASCAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Jaume to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Gabrio made a kick off. MADAGASCAR's Halil Usta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Gabrio in the 53rd minute of play. Victoriano Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Halil Usta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Rivero in the 64th minute of the match. Halil Usta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Urdaspal in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute, Victoriano Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, MADAGASCAR's Desiderio Lander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 85 minutes of play, Morena FC's Ramiro Urdaspal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halil Usta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Ekialde's late challenge caught a Morena FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Ekialde helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Morena FC booed when MADAGASCAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Morena FC's Victoriano Tabb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halil Usta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Morena FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while MADAGASCAR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
