Dante Bartuelo scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Azibar during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zonda booed when Sepultura AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Dante Bartuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Velasco. Sepultura AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Bartuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Errando got free with Lázaro Calvino in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Dante Bartuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zonda and the Sepultura AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Bartuelo in the 43rd minute of play forced Sepultura AFC's goalkeeper Moises Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Cipriano Tabor made a precise shot to the right of Moises Velasco. Sepultura AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

In the 58th minute Cipriano Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepultura AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zonda the free kick. The supporters of Sepultura AFC booed when Zonda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Ladislao Calvino in the 81st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lázaro Calvino's left hand side. Dante Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Velasco having to interfere. Cipriano Tabor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zonda played a much better game than Sepultura AFC and deserved their victory. The Sepultura AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
