Iker Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Lucero in the 27th minute of the match. Esteve Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ignatius in the 31st minute of play. Iker Ekhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Elixio's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Lucas Elixio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iker Ekhi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 44th minute Geronimo Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lucas Elixio had several of the Ciudad Evita FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Iker Ekhi as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Cuervos Fútbol Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
