Spectators: 6445 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Chacarita-Juniors CHJ's goalkeeper Enzo Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Beltza. After a rather tough play, Cavalango's Serafino Etxeberri got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes, Chacarita-Juniors CHJ's Octavio Quilino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Medardo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita-Juniors CHJ reached it. Panait Muraru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Enzo Gartxot made a huge save. The supporters of Chacarita-Juniors CHJ booed when Cavalango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Baldomero Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Ignacio Beltza could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Enzo Gartxot however easily saved by the left post. Ignacio Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Gartxot having to interfere. Claudio Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Quilino in the 46th minute of play. Claudio Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Quilino to make the kick off. Cavalango's Ignacio Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Octavio Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes, Alfonso Beila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita-Juniors CHJ and the Cavalango players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Serafino Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Muraru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Gartxot having to interfere. Enzo Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ignacio Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Cavalango's Ignacio Beltza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cavalango were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Chacarita-Juniors CHJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafino Etxeberri took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Beltza in the 93rd minute of play forced Chacarita-Juniors CHJ's goalkeeper Enzo Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Cavalango's Panait Muraru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
