With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guillermo Merino sped through Desaguadero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Froilan Aguilera. C.A.REY DE COPAS's Marcos Beila got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Luix's late challenge caught a C.A.REY DE COPAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Luix helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Desaguadero getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Natalio Luix hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Arturo Munio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Aguilera skillfully saved the ball. Gogo Hartz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Blas Hibai struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Froilan Aguilera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.REY DE COPAS. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Ruy was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Ruy in the 54th minute of play forced C.A.REY DE COPAS's goalkeeper Sergio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Froilan Aguilera managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when C.A.REY DE COPAS's Guillermo Merino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C.A.REY DE COPAS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
