Encrucijadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Murdza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Gecionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Encrucijadas's Ziemowit Murdza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Goiz. Dionisio Goiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Hipolito Fiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dionisio Goiz made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Raymond was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Gecionis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Encrucijadas's Victoriano Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Encrucijadas from getting a goal against them. Antonio Raymond in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
