Victor Ostadar kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edelmiro Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Burni having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Jimmie Björkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Burni. Líbaros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmie Björkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute Edelmiro Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jimmie Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Líbaros got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Dimo. Angelino Goyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Ted in the 29th minute. When atenas fc's Edelmiro Barea in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Líbaros's goalie prevented a goal. The Líbaros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. atenas fc were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Barea made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of atenas fc booed when Líbaros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Ostadar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Björkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Burni made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jimmie Björkman sent off a good shot on target. If Edelmiro Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Líbaros getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Victoriano Fanuco hit a great ball. After 73 minutes, Gregorio Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Líbaros and the atenas fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Líbaros! Edelmiro Barea shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jimmie Björkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Burni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmie Björkman ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edelmiro Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Björkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Burni having to interfere. But to his dismay, Jimmie Björkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 95th minute, atenas fc's Edelmiro Barea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 98 minutes in the game, Edelmiro Barea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dante Burni having to interfere.
