Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Niva started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Empalme FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bonifacio Fe hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Niva got free with Maximino Gartzen in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Luis Niva in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Maximino Gartzen had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Christian Oskitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Maximino Gartzen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luis Niva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Maximino Gartzen made a huge save. When Fernando Itzaina came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Clausurada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Itzaina couldn't finish the play. Maximino Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Niva's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Christian Oskitzs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Maximino Gartzen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th match minute, Clausurada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Sergi to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Hermelando came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Empalme FC's Inocencio Abeitia. But to his dismay, Inocencio Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Abeitia made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Clausurada's Luis Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Gartzen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximino Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Empalme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Niva came free, but Maximino Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Clausurada's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Abeitia came free, but Lorenzo Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Lapurdi's late challenge caught a Clausurada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Lapurdi helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Fe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lorenzo Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Celedonio Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Maximino Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Luis Niva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empalme FC's Maximino Gartzen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Empalme FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clausurada throughout the match.
