Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Elodio in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Esteve Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Vitin during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Esteve Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gavino Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Despidida fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Despidida's Esteve Elodio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute Urbano Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedito Vale hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Donato Boni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Urbano Natanael made the kick off in the second half. If Esteve Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Elodio in the 57th minute of play forced Espinillo's goalkeeper Nemesio Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Despidida's Esteve Elodio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Despidida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
