Rigoberto Oskarbi started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes SAN MIGUEL got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ascencio. Marco Villalba struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Roberto Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club SyD CEAF. In the 18th minute, Desiderio Lohitzun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club SyD CEAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Club SyD CEAF's Silvestre Maura got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Rigoberto Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes SAN MIGUEL got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Fanuco. Desiderio Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Roberto Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Gil during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club SyD CEAF's Rodolfo Gil got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Marco Villalba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Club SyD CEAF got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Favila. SAN MIGUEL's Roberto Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Lohitzun in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute Bonifacio Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Villalba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Club SyD CEAF's Marco Villalba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Inautzi. Roberto Inautzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Frank Hutchinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Oskarbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes Club SyD CEAF got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Maura. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club SyD CEAF's goalkeeper Frank Hutchinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Villalba hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Marco Villalba made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Inautzi. SAN MIGUEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 75 minutes, Rodolfo Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club SyD CEAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SAN MIGUEL getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Isidro Olentzaro hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Desiderio Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match, Marco Villalba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Inautzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marco Villalba came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Club SyD CEAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Villalba couldn't finish the play. Club SyD CEAF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
