The corner ended in Jan-Åke Groth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Novita's Vladimiro Harkaitz did a great save. Marcial Ourente's late challenge caught a FC Novita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Ourente helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Leon Ascencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Leon Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Gaizkine. 30 minutes into the match, FC Novita's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Edorta came free, but Vladimiro Harkaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nesto came free, but Leon Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Novita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. FC Novita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sepulturas FC for a fine match.
