The supporters of Moquehua FC booed when FC Novita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vladimiro Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Harkaitz having to interfere. Humberto Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Hermelando in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Moquehua FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Panfilo. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gonzalo Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Novita's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Gaizkine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Laureano Hermelando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Gil. Moquehua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Hermelando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Humberto Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Moquehua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nesto came free, but Humberto Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, FC Novita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Laureano Hermelando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Novita and the Moquehua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes FC Novita got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Hermelando. Vladimiro Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Rik in the 36th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, FC Novita's Eugenio Nesto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Gil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Nesto in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Rik to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes FC Novita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Seme who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Moquehua FC's Gilberto Seme to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Harkaitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Moquehua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nesto came free, but Humberto Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Acosta hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Laureano Hermelando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Novita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 80th minute, FC Novita's Eugenio Nesto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Gil. Humberto Gil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 84th minute, Gonzalo Gaizkine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Gil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Gonzalo Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Humberto Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Moquehua FC's goalkeeper Humberto Gil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Gaizkine. Moquehua FC's Humberto Gil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Moquehua FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Eugenio Nesto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Moquehua FC's Humberto Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Nesto in the 97th minute of play. FC Novita played a much better game than Moquehua FC and deserved their victory. The Moquehua FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
