The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidoro Estebano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Sayvion. DEPORTIVO SAN TELMO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feliberto Tiniebra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Valiente in the 15th minute of the match. David Otsando hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Siro Frederico made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atalaya's Benjamin Eguen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Ermegildo Valiente fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin Eguen, passed just outside the right post. Fabian Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Benjamin Eguen made a huge save. After having played for 31 minutes, Feliberto Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Tiniebra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Siro Frederico came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the DEPORTIVO SAN TELMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Frederico couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Atalaya getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Esteban Azeari hit a great ball. Atalaya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ermegildo Valiente scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Eguen, making the score, 2-0. Lázaro Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Tiniebra in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Izel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO SAN TELMO's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Izel came free, but Lázaro Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Frederico in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Atalaya's zone, Fabian Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Eguen came out of the goal and Fabian Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Frederico in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Eguen saved Atalaya from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO SAN TELMO's goalkeeper Lázaro Sayvion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Tiniebra. With a little luck, DEPORTIVO SAN TELMO's Lázaro Sayvion got control of the ball when Feliberto Tiniebra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Siro Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benjamin Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Otsando in the 74th minute of play forced Atalaya's goalkeeper Benjamin Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Eguen having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Siro Frederico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Frederico in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lázaro Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Feliberto Tiniebra sent off a good shot on target. Lázaro Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Izel in the 95th minute of the match.
