Patricio Ralondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. no juego mas's Jonny Rockett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Monte in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, no juego mas's Ariel Indartsu got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Marino in the 15th minute of play forced no juego mas's goalkeeper Jonny Rockett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aurelio Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. no juego mas's Leonides Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Diego Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Rockett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play, Independiente Athletic's Rolando Dolfo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Rockett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Ralondo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonny Rockett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente Athletic. In the 32ndth minute of the game Patricio Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but no juego mas's Jonny Rockett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leonides Beturian came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the no juego mas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Beturian couldn't finish the play. Leonides Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Orkatz having to interfere. Leonides Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leonides Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, no juego mas's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Ralondo came free, but Jonny Rockett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Resto in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Rolando Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Rockett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Resto in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Ralondo made a kick off. Jonny Rockett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Ralondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, no juego mas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justo Monte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Dolfo in the 70th minute of play forced no juego mas's goalkeeper Jonny Rockett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the no juego mas defense, Rolando Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Rockett. The no juego mas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Rockett should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Independiente Athletic's Victor Kiliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonny Rockett. Jonny Rockett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Jonny Rockett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Aurelio Resto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in no juego mas's zone, Alfredo Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Rockett came out of the goal and Alfredo Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente Athletic's Leonides Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Beturian in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Leonides Beturian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Orkatz. Independiente Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Leonides Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Resto in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Independiente Athletic booed when no juego mas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Ugaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The no juego mas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independiente Athletic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
