Saturnino Jusepe took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Lopes. Julian Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Palermo FC's Cesar Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Harkaitz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 19 minutes into the game, one of LOS MATADORES F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hilario Araoz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Romulo Berenguer came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Palermo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Berenguer couldn't finish the play. Cesar Maurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Palermo FC's Romulo Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Romulo Berenguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Lopes having to interfere. The LOS MATADORES F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palermo FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Berenguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo FC's goalkeeper Artemio Palos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Ariel Maurin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Palermo FC's Artemio Palos. Artemio Palos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Romulo Berenguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Lopes. LOS MATADORES F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Berenguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 70 played minutes LOS MATADORES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Luzaide. Alvaro Santxol got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 75 minutes into the match, Romulo Berenguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Lopes. LOS MATADORES F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Berenguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, LOS MATADORES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Maurin came free, but Julian Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Julian Lopes managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Palermo FC's Salvador Paul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, LOS MATADORES F.C.'s Ezequiel Iratzeder got a free kick in the 85th minute. Julian Lopes made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Romulo Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Lopes having to interfere.
