The crowd rose to their feet as Meng Lei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Justo Guillem. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Teodosio Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerrico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. Teodosio Atauri hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Meng Lei struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Justo Guillem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrico. If Meng Lei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meng Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Atauri in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Atauri got free with Justo Guillem in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Guerrico's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Barto came free, but Antonio Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guerrico's Meng Lei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Guillem. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Justo Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meng Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Justo Guillem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute of the match Guerrico got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodosio Atauri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Guerrico's Teodosio Atauri to fire away a dangerous shot which Justo Guillem despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Meng Lei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerrico's supporters rose to their feet, but Meng Lei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Meng Lei might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Guillem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meng Lei ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Meng Lei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Guillem made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Teodosio Atauri sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Meng Lei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meng Lei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Herminio Larra got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Meng Lei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute of the match, Teodosio Atauri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Justo Guillem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Meng Lei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justo Guillem, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Nisio made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Lorenzo Nisio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Roma was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After a rather tough play, Guerrico's Apolo Dolfos got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Lorenzo Nisio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Atauri in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Lorenzo Nisio made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Guerrico's Antonio Roma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Adolfo Jeraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guerrico the free kick. The supporters of Guerrico booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Roma having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Justo Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meng Lei in the 97th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Boca Juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
