The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Javiar got free with Hernan Macias in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Marcones in the 97th minute of play forced Iriarte's goalkeeper Hernan Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Iriarte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Kannemann were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
