The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ASí NOMáS's Pastor Clodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Urti in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Santo Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 21st minute, Alberto Nicoletti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Ostadar. The goal made the score 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Tximitx in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Ostadar saved Deportivo Cristal from getting behind. After some careless play in the Deportivo Cristal defense, Thiago Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Ostadar. The Deportivo Cristal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Ostadar should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Deportivo Cristal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rodolfo Porfirio hit a great ball. Alberto Nicoletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Thiago Maradona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Tximitx made a kick off. After 55 played minutes ASí NOMáS got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Peru. Alberto Nicoletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Cristal's Martin Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Maradona in the 59th minute of play. Martin Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Tximitx in the 63rd minute of the match. Abel Clemencin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Martin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Nicoletti in the 65th minute of play. Thiago Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ostadar having to interfere. Martin Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Alberto Nicoletti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Martin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Tximitx in the 82nd minute of play. Alberto Nicoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Martin Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Silvano Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Israel Valente hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Silvano Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Urti during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cristal's Israel Valente got a free kick in the 94th minute. Alberto Nicoletti took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Ostadar. Martin Ostadar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASí NOMáS fully deserved thier win.
