Paulito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elpidio Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Fernando Danel came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Paulito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Danel couldn't finish the play. Elpidio Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Estevez in the 87th minute of play. Cesar Erramu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Fernando Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Tartagal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paulito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
