But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Cresconio couldn't finish the play. If Anastasio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Florencia AFC defense, Basilio Ponce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Asur. The Florencia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Asur should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bancalari's zone, Sixto Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Roderigo came out of the goal and Sixto Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Bancalari defense, David Bonifaco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Roderigo. The Bancalari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Roderigo should have stopped the shot. Sixto Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Roderigo having to interfere.

Florencia AFC's Benjamin Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Ponce in the 68th minute of play. Sixto Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
