The referee showed José Julio Bahamonde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Mateo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mihail Necșulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diablo Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Necșulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Hoseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. David Hoseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Trinity AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Valente came free, but David Hoseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Flavio Valente took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for David Hoseth to make any attempt to save it. Mihail Necșulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Diablo Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trinity AFC:s goal. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Trinity AFC. Paolo Txema stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Desiderio Kusko. 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Trinity AFC's goalkeeper David Hoseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Valente. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihail Necșulescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Hoseth. That made the score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play. Diablo Fc's Feliciano Nicholas was substituted for Gaspar Honesto. In the 94thth minute of the game Flavio Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinity AFC's David Hoseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desiderio Kusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Totakoxe in the 97th minute of the match. Diablo Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
