Marcial Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Melquiades Osoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Ticho. Barker FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Osoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Estebe couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Osoitz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Ascencio in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Algerri de Rosario's goalkeeper Marcial Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Rico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Cerilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Barker FC's Eleuterio Cordareo got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Vladimiro Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Algerri de Rosario's Marcial Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Artaldo in the 65th minute of play. German Ascencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Cerilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Ascencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcial Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Club Algerri de Rosario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Estebe to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Barker FC's Ernesto Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Barker FC were furious when German Ascencio was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barker FC! Teobaldo Estebe shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Joel Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barker FC's protests and gave Joel Artaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Club Algerri de Rosario's Melquiades Osoitz tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Henry in the 88th minute of play forced Barker FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aristides Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Barker FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Camilo Bidari hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Teobaldo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute of the match, Melquiades Osoitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgardo Ticho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barker FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
