The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Recreo FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Recreo FC's Basilio Ruisko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romeo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Recreo FC's Bernardo Sindo got control of the ball when Albino Gaskon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Recreo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Maria's late challenge caught a CHECOTARIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Maria helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Recreo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CHECOTARIO:s goal. Isaias Bastia placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Recreo FC's Carlos Azevedo got a free kick in the 17th minute. CHECOTARIO's Bernt Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Goi in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, CHECOTARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Goi came free, but Bernt Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Gaskon got free with Bernardo Sindo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Ruisko in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernt Berggren saved CHECOTARIO from getting behind. If Albino Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Recreo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Ruisko to maneuver through the defense. Recreo FC's Bernardo Sindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Recreo FC from getting a goal against them. 庄振林 struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bernardo Sindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHECOTARIO. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Goi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernt Berggren made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Benedicto Furman sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Rencio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes CHECOTARIO got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Rencio. Federico Goi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernt Berggren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If 庄振林 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Sindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Gaskon's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Basilio Ruisko made a precise shot to the right of Bernt Berggren. CHECOTARIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Federico Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bernt Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Berggren made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Basilio Ruisko sent off a good shot on target. Federico Goi took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernt Berggren. Bernt Berggren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 72 minutes, Federico Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recreo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Goi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes in the game, Basilio Ruisko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernt Berggren having to interfere. Albino Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Sindo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, 庄振林 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Recreo FC's Basilio Ruisko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Berggren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Recreo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
