If Emiliano Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Edelmiro Gutxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Chap was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. DEPORTIVO MERLO's Natalio Chap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Baldovino in the 30th minute of play. Natalio Chap didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Iraido went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valcheta's Emiliano Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Baldovino scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Chap, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Fertus to make the kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEPORTIVO MERLO's goalkeeper Natalio Chap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DEPORTIVO MERLO's Natalio Chap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO MERLO from getting a goal against them. Edelmiro Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Chap having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO MERLO's zone, Edelmiro Gutxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Chap came out of the goal and Edelmiro Gutxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Valcheta getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ubaldo Iyan hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Conrado Dodorol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Kemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Arsenio Montae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emiliano Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Valcheta's Edelmiro Gutxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Chap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edelmiro Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Natalio Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aureliano Belo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valcheta's protests and gave Aureliano Belo a yellow card for diving instead.
