The crowd rose to their feet as Valcheta's Edelmiro Gutxi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisito Fresco. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. The supporters of Valcheta booed when Leguizamón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Gutxi in the 18th minute of play. Luisito Fresco was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Arsenio Montae capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Montae really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Candido Kemen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

But to his dismay, Emiliano Iraido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valcheta had played much better football throughout.
