After 17 minutes, Diego Gipuzkoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osorno Club and the Caranchos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Osorno Club got a freekick which was hit by Diego Gipuzkoa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Lucado in the 28th minute of play forced Osorno Club's goalkeeper Salvador Oinaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Oinaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Lucado's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Caranchos getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gabriel Marin hit a great ball. Rogelio Seguinus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Osorno Club booed when Caranchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Sal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Adriana Iaki made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Rogelio Seguinus made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Osorno Club got a corner. Caranchos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Everardo Bento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Everardo Bento made a great header on Osorno Club's corner, it was just that Caranchos's Adriana Iaki managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Sal during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caranchos booed when Osorno Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Oto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Caranchos's Adriana Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Bento in the 62nd minute of play. If Fausto Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Rogelio Seguinus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Osorno Club's Americo Sal got a free kick in the 74th minute. Adriana Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Osorno Club's Salvador Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Lucado in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Caranchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Marin to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Dionisio Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caranchos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Osorno Club had controlled the match.
