Isaac Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Galvão in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ceferino Demario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Donio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rolando Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Alfonso charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Alfonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo La Banda's Ruben Alfonso got a free kick in the 31st minute. Deportivo La Banda's Isaac Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Loukas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Dimitris Loukas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo La Banda's Isaac Donio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Loukas in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo La Banda's goalkeeper Isaac Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Tiburcio Cresitobalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Loukas struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Isaac Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godislove.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godislove's Dimitris Loukas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Ruben Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Vladimir Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo La Banda's Isaac Donio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo La Banda from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute of the match, Dimitris Loukas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaac Donio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo La Banda's goalkeeper Isaac Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Loukas. In the 77th minute Adolfo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Benicio Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo La Banda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Godislove the free kick. In the 79th minute, one of Deportivo La Banda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo La Banda. After 80 minutes Deportivo La Banda's goalkeeper Isaac Donio managed, with a little bit of luck, save Tiburcio Cresitobalo's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After 80 minutes of play, Godislove's Tiburcio Cresitobalo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Donio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the game, Godislove's Adolfo Jurdan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Donio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Dimitris Loukas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Donio. Isaac Donio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Dimitris Loukass short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Isaac Donio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Godislove's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
