The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Emanuel Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Cordarius took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Satordi. Eleuterio Satordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 12 played minutes Cabinda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Benvide. Cabinda AFC's Teodosio Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Mitxel in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mitxel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Haimar. Cabinda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Mitxel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mario Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eleuterio Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cordarius in the 23rd minute of play. Teodosio Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mitxel in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cabinda AFC's Eriberto Eneko got a free kick in the 26th minute. Teodosio Haimar made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Guido Federigo sent off a good shot on target. When Abel Nicholas fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabinda AFC's protests and gave Abel Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Nicholas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cabinda AFC's zone, Guido Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Haimar came out of the goal and Guido Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Brandsen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabinda AFC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Federigo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Federigo in the 54th minute of play forced Cabinda AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Cabinda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mitxel came free, but Teodosio Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Eriberto Eneko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabinda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brandsen the free kick. Eriberto Eneko hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mario Cordarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Satordi having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
