Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Higinio Cordera made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Zapata FC defense, Higinio Cordera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Valente. The Zapata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Valente should have stopped the shot. Arturo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Generoso Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Tiburcio Abadia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Higinio Cordera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Erasmo Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ferrer in the 27th minute of play forced Deportivo Union Central's goalkeeper Generoso Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Abadia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Frutos having to make a save. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Union Central got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Chabier. Tiburcio Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tiburcio Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Abadia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Generoso Frutos made a huge save. Tiburcio Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. After the first half Deportivo Union Central were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Abadia was the one to do the kick off. Abel Ibañez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Valente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albino Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Higinio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Deportivo Union Central got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Chabier. Deportivo Union Central's Generoso Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Abadia in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Pablo Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Frutos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 78th minute Tiburcio Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tiburcio Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tiburcio Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Rey during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Leopoldo Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
