In the 6th minute, Prospero Quinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, La Marea Roja's goalkeeper Ismael Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Cai. Prospero Quinto struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Generoso Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Marea Roja. Generoso Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Quinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Frutos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Quinto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Higinio Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Benjamin Froila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Marea Roja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39th match minute, La Marea Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Cordera in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Higinio Cordera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nicasio Mazuste hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

La Marea Roja's Ismael Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Cai in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Higinio Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Albino Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Marea Roja's Ismael Quinteros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Union Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Turi in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Saturnino Columbo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Marea Roja's Ismael Quinteros did a great save. 67 minutes into the game, Fidel Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Marea Roja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Union Central the free kick. After 67 played minutes La Marea Roja got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Chuan. La Marea Roja made a substitution. Andres Fero replaced Benjamin Froila. Fidel Chuan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Deportivo Union Central getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Albino Cai hit a great ball. After 78 minutes, Prospero Quinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Marea Roja and the Deportivo Union Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Prospero Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Marea Roja's Fidel Chuan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The throw-in from Abel Ibañez in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Marea Roja's Carolo Rioja. Generoso Frutos came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by La Marea Roja's Prospero Quinto. But to his dismay, Prospero Quinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Fero in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. The Deportivo Union Central fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Marea Roja were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
