With a left leg Ismael Quinteros saved La Marea Roja from getting behind. Ismael Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ferrer in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Abadia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ismael Quinteros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, La Marea Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Abadia came free, but Ismael Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes La Marea Roja got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Rioja. After 15 played minutes La Marea Roja got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Rioja. In the 17th minute Arturo Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Quinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Zapata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Paulino Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Marea Roja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapata FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Marea Roja's Paulino Steven got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Donato Furman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Quinteros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to La Marea Roja getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Carolo Rioja hit a great ball. Erasmo Valente came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by La Marea Roja's Prospero Quinto. But to his dismay, Prospero Quinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th play minute Prospero Quinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erasmo Valente. 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, La Marea Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Abadia came free, but Ismael Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Abadia in the 41st minute of play. Fidel Chuan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Froila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pablo Rodriguez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Pablo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Ferrer in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Quinteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Zapata FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Donio. When Ciriaco Gartzen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zapata FC's protests and gave Ciriaco Gartzen a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Arturo Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zapata FC's Arturo Ferrer in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Marea Roja's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Abadia got free with Ismael Quinteros in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Ferrer in the 71st minute of the match. Arturo Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Marea Roja's Andres Fero was substituted for Benjamin Froila. Ismael Quinteros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ciriaco Oso. Donato Furman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 4-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Andres Fero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Tiburcio Abadia made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Quinteros. La Marea Roja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Prospero Quinto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Erasmo Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Marea Roja. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Marea Roja's goalkeeper Ismael Quinteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Valente having to interfere. La Marea Roja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
