After a rather tough play, Santa Rita FC's Fred Muggerud got a free kick in the 11th minute. Generoso Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Muggerud in the 14th minute of the match. Lucas Gentza struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Generoso Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Rita FC. Generoso Frutos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Muggerud's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fred Muggerud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Rita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Muggerud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Frutos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Muggerud's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Lucas Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. When Fred Muggerud came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Santa Rita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Muggerud couldn't finish the play. Julian Dubinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frutos having to interfere. Santa Rita FC's Fred Muggerud got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Deportivo Union Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Denis Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Santa Rita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Gaskon couldn't finish the play. Santa Rita FC played a much better game than Deportivo Union Central and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Union Central players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
