Club Atletico Lamas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario AFC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Club Atletico Lamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Foro to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Lea scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Sendoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niclas Lea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rafael Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Rosario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Barea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Cortez in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Sendoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Cortez in the 35th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lamas's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Cortez came free, but Rafael Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Niclas Lea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rafael Sendoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niclas Lea was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Sendoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Lea in the 51st minute. Niclas Lea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rafael Sendoa made a huge save. Gerardo Abeijon scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Sendoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niclas Lea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rafael Sendoa made a huge save. Gerardo Abeijon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Sendoa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Abeijon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Bernabe Maurino with Zacarias Ponciano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 77th minute, Club Atletico Lamas's John Beale seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed John Beale the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Lamas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and John Beale had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lamas's John Beale got a free kick in the 78th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Carmelo Pes in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rosario AFC's Nunez Fidele. With a little luck, Club Atletico Lamas's Rafael Sendoa got control of the ball when Gerardo Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Lea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Club Atletico Lamas's Rafael Sendoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Lamas from getting a goal against them. Rosario AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
