If Danilo Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Danilo Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cayetano Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Confesor struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cayetano Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Nueva FC. Cayetano Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Mikelats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A very good chance. The supporters of Álamos booed when Villa Nueva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cayetano Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Mikelats in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Leonel Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Villa Nueva FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Álamos.
