In the 26thth minute of the game Fabricio Salvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes BA's Humberto Chorche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pirguita AFC's Fabricio Salvino got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Baptista made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gaspar Frutos sent off a good shot on target. The Pirguita AFC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Pirguita AFC's Fabricio Salvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
