Cristian Suero shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Victorino Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mendoza's Edgard Bento got control of the ball when Anibal Llorienzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Javiero in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Bento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Javiero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Bento was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Mendoza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeronimo Javiero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Esteban Maraman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Edgard Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catriló AFC. 53 minutes into the match, Mendoza's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Javiero came free, but Edgard Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeronimo Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Arsenio Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Bento. Mendoza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 66th minute Jeronimo Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorino Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 played minutes Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Dei. After 74 played minutes Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Dei. After some careless play in the Mendoza defense, Victorino Rosario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Bento. The Mendoza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Bento should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Jeronimo Javiero put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edgard Bento. Jeronimo Javiero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Catriló AFC fully deserved thier win.
